Thank you for your interest in the KEYS Research Internship

The application for the 2026 KEYS Research Internship is open November 3 - December 18, 2025.

In addition to our in-person internships, virtual internships are available for a limited number of highly motivated students with interests or skills in computational biology and bioinformatics.

Unofficial transcript

Unofficial Transcript

You will need an electronic copy of your unofficial transcript to upload to your application. Please ask your school counselor or administrator if you are unsure of how to obtain your transcript. 

 

Recommendations

Two Online Professional Recommendations

One of your recommendations MUST be from a science teacher. Your other recommendation may be from another teacher or someone who knows you professionally. Your recommenders will be completing an online form only. We do not accept additional letters of recommendation.

Applicant and Parent/Guardian Agreements

You and your parents/legal guardians must sign and upload both agreement forms before submitting your application. The forms can be found in the application. Please download the blank forms, fill them out, and include signatures. Once completed, upload the forms to the application.
